Our school has taken part to an international contest on the Child’s rights.

First, we studied the Child rights’ convention and selected the rights to illustrate.

During the Art classes, we worked in group so as to make a collective work.

Working together is great fun !

We have created posters that will be examined by a jury in Toulon.

Now, we keep our fingers crossed !

If our posters are selected, participants will be rewarded and some prizes are at stake !!!!

The shool Ordc.Prof.Dr. Cahit Arf Primary school

   Our shool Ordc.Prof.Dr. Cahit Arf Primary school is in Tuzla which is the last district of İstanbul.We are found in the Anatolian part of İstanbul located at the coast of the Marmara Sea. We are a small school with 735 students and 39 teachers. Our students are between 7 and 11 ages. As a compulsory primary education school we also offer education to 3 pre- school classes, 2 otizm classes and 1 class with students with special needs. Most of our students’ parents come from different economically underdeveloped areas for social and economic reasons.Tuzla as a growing industrial zone  is giving  chance for these immigrated families tol ive in better conditions.             Our school is strongly concerned to integrate these studets to an active social life and educate them succesfully according to our curriculum.

   Our first foreign language is English and our pupils start learning it from the 2nd grade. İn our school we have a science lab, a library, a playground for smaller students, a conference room, a first aid room.
